Mrs. Cagle is not only Soke's wife but a great instructor with the kids. She is a Hendersonville ISD Elementary school teacher with a background in child development giving her a unique talent when working with the kids. She started training under Soke in the Texas dojo just before they got married in 2005. She is currently a 1st Degree Black Belt in Dojoku Martial Arts. Mrs. Cagle is also a huge part of our staff and is always "helping" Soke make up his mind!! Seriously, she is a great asset and Soke looks forward to seeing her reach her goals and what is to come in their future. In February of 2010 she tested for and received her 1st Degree Black Belt in Dojoku, and her 1st Degree Black Sash in Jeet Kune Do.

Mr. David Pestoff

Mr. Pestoff started his martial arts training at the age of nine under Master Landaas in the kids classes. David eventually started assisting in the after school program. In December of 2008, he received his 2nd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do under Soke Cagle. In February of 2010 He tested for and received his 1st Degree Black Belt in Dojoku, and his 1st Degree Black Sash in Jeet Kune Do. David continues to train and assist with the kids and adult classes, of which he has a lot of experience and is very good with the younger kids. David is also a Staff member on our After School Staff. Currently David is now working on his 3rd Degree Black Belt in Dojoku, his Advanced Full Instructorship in Jeet Kune Do and 4th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do under Soke.

Mr. Walker started taking Tae Kwon Do at nine years old under Master Landaas at Self Defense America. In the Spring of 2005 he obtained the rank of 1st Degree Black Belt in TKD under Master Landaas. In January of 2008, J.T. tested for 2nd Degree Black Belt under the supervision of both Master Landaas and Soke Cagle. In February of 2010 He tested for and received his 1st Degree Black Belt in Dojoku, and his 1st Degree Black Sash in Jeet Kune Do.

Mr. Josh Brock
Certified Instructor
Mr. Brock is a quick study and has learned very fast, he continues to research and add to his knowledge base.
Josh has a great understanding of the Dojoku system is very good at breaking down the techniques so anyone can understand which makes him a great instructor. Josh has taken a keen liking into the Kenpo and Aiki-JuJutsu sides of Dojoku and enjoys working through the advanced combos and is looking forward to helping Master Cagle with our our Generation 2 over the next year. Mr. Brock plans on working on his Black Belt in American Kenpo, Aiki-JuJutsu over the next year while getting ready for his 2nd Dan in Dojoku.

Mr. Richard Park
Certified Instructor

Mr. Park started his martial arts training at the age of 15 under Master Landaas at the same time Soke Cagle started teaching at Self Defense America in S. Asheville in October of '07. Richard eventually moved with the rest of the school and instructors with Soke Cagle when that school closed in '08.
In April of 2010 He tested for and received his 1st Degree Black Belt in Dojoku.
Mr. Park graduated top three in his class with honors in High School at T. C. R. and is currently at College at Chapel Hill where he plans on a later being a Pediatric Surgeon. We miss him and look forward to his returns during vacations to train with us. We look forward to seeing where this young man goes in the future!

Ms. Lynn is an amazing instructor with a great attention to detail. She has quickly become Soke's technical advisor, as she writes most of our notes and explanations for our manuals. She started her martial arts training with Master Landaas at Self Defense America, moving through the ranks in both Combat Hapkido and Tae Kwon Do. Ms. Lynn followed Soke Cagle with the new school.

Mr. Wilson Bunn

Mr. Bunn came to us from a break off after receiving his Blue Belt in another style.
Wilson has proven himself as a detailed minded student, which helps him with breaking down techniques while he is helping teaching working on his 2nd Dan Black Belt.
Mr. Bunn graduated the Asheville Police Department this year to become one of Asheville's finest in Blue!.

Mr. Cornelius Du Plessis

Mr. Du Plessis has been with Dojoku for over 2 years now and has worked hard to get where he is as a Brown Belt.
He says he tried Tae Kwon Do when he was young in S. Africa where he was born and always wanted to follow through with his goals in the Martial Arts. We have enjoyed Cornelius in classes and now look forward to see him grow as an Assistant Instructor here at Dojoku.

Mr. Bryce Simpson

Bryce began his martial arts training at the age of five under Master Landaas. In January 2008, he earned his Junior Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do under the supervision of Master Landaas and Soke Cagle. Bryce continues to train under Soke Cagle in Dojoku, and is working toward his SR. Black Belt in Dojoku Martial Arts. Bryce is a very bright young man and works very hard to cross train into the Dojoku system, he also helps Soke with teaching the kids classes and helping the newer students in the Teen Class.

Mr. Luke Milam,

Mr Milam was Soke Cagle's FIRST Black Belt in this system and currently the highest Ranking Black Belt under Soke in Dojoku. Since then Mr Milam has continued to train and received his 3rd Dan in Dojoku and his 2nd Dan in TKD in the summer of '09 during a visit to Soke's school here in Asheville. Mr. Milam was a huge part of our school and helping Soke finish some of the advanced techniques in the system before moving to WNC on 2006. Luke tries to make at least two visits a year to cross train with Soke and is currently working on his black sash in Jeet Kune Do. Mr. Milam continues to train in Dojoku Martial Arts under Soke Cagle and is working on his 4th Dan Assoc. Masters Black Belt in Dojoku Martial Arts as well as his Third Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, 1st Sash in JKD.
The 4th Degree Black Belt is Associate Master in the Dojoku System. Soke is very proud of Mr. Milam and continues to be amazed at his learning abilities and skill level!
Mr. Milam is currently in the US Army Special Forces Training Program!
