During the  "homework time" portion of the Program, our staff will be available to assist your child with his/her  homework so that when you pick your child up and go home you will be able to enjoy more family time. With a teacher checking over your child's homework everyday better grades are certainty!

Around the World more and more psychologists, doctors, counselors and teachers recommend Martial Arts training to children and adults who want to achieve and maintain optimum physical and mental health.  The benefits of Martial Arts training have been well known for centuries but only recently, with the stressful demands of modern society (often resulting in unhealthy lifestyles) have the positive and beneficial effects of Martial Arts training been “rediscovered” and widely accepted.

WHAT OUR PROGRAM IS and IS NOT!

Before you sign up your child up with our program,
these are things all parents need to know:

We ARE the ONLY REAL Martial Art After School Program in the Asheville / Arden area!
We Currently only serve the Arden/Fletcher Area Schools!

We are NOT a day care or a baby sitting service!!

Our program provides a constructive alternative to daycare,
PSPM, the "Y" or babysitting.

There is no charge for early release days.

We offer full day services for teacher work days, snow days, and some holidays for additional fee. You can drop off as early as 7:30 AM and pick up as late as 6:00 PM on those days.

We are in the Martial Arts Enrichment business, NOT THE BABYSITTING and DAY CARE BUSINESS. Only use our program if you are interested in teaching your child Martial Arts with benefits like: Exercise, Discipline, Respect, Manners, Self Respect and Self Esteem.
Through our unique belt ranking stripe system your child will earn belt ranks NOT FOUND anywhere else. THIS STUFF REALLY DOES CARRY OVER INTO THEIR SCHOOL WORK AND HOME.

We give out SPECIAL AWARDS for children with "A" Honor Roll and "A-B" Honor Roll. We also give out awards for children that do at least 5 chores per day for entire month. The Parents can receive a copy of the chart to follow and return to the school.
All theses awards will also be given in front of class.

We are a local family owned and operated business,
NOT a commercial / franchised school or a black belt factory and
WE WILL NOT PUT A RANK BELT ON ANYONE WHO HASN’T EARNED IT.

We WILL NOT put A Senior (FULL BLACK BELT) on anyone under 15 Years of age. A Junior Black Belt can promote to different levels of Jr Black but MUST retest for their Senior Black Belt upon turning of age, and MUST be proficient in all areas of the system for before allowed to test.

We have a CERTIFIED TRAINED STAFF of 7 with 4 Full Time Instructors to teach class and separate the classes by rank and age. Our main floors are padded with Dollumar floor mats, the best in the business for your child's safety and fun.

Children have time each day for snack time before classes.
Class time is from 3:45 until 4:15 PM Monday through Thursdays, with Friday being a game day and private lessons for those students wanting or needing more one on one attention. (Private lessons are Extra and Must be scheduled in advance with an Instructor!)
Parents ARE NOT ALLOWED to pick up their child during the class time as it is disruptive to the class and the child's learning. Please make arrangements to pick up BEFORE or AFTER class times if you need to pick your child up for any reasons, like Dr appt, family emergency, etc. that is fine we only ask for an advanced notice so we can hold your child out of class.

After classes we have games in each room with a staff member supervising and 1 quiet room available for continued homework time, reading, arts and craft and more. We also have an activity room for more games for the smaller kids like legos, hot wheels, cards, checkers and more. We also run a more physical games in the main 2 rooms like dodge ball and dance games and more,as well as outside games like basketball, etc.

Parents have until 6:00 P.M. to pick up with out a late fee, after 6PM late fees are calculated at $1 per minute and are due and payable in CASH that day upon arrival with no exceptions.

Payments are due on Friday by 6PM the week BEFORE services rendered!!
After 6PM Friday, Late fees accrue at a rate of $10 per day until paid in full!

All students are to come to class PREPARED each day and are REQUIRED to wear their Belts to class EVERY DAY except Fridays, belts are not required.
We promote that IT IS the students responsibility to remember these things, for the younger students we do ask parents to help remind them, just simply leave belt in backpack daily.

If there are ANY concerns parents are asked to speak with
Ms. Renee or Master Cagle THAT day so we may take care of you that day.
